Canal Park Boot Camp

I'm a big fan of the 7 PM Canal Park Boot Camp on Tuesdays, and I hope you continue to offer it throughout the summer at the same time--it's perfect for those of us who work downtown but commute back home to the Navy Yard/Hill area. If you offer one on Saturday or Sunday, please consider having it mid-morning, e.g. 11 AM--there's a huge population of young professionals living around Canal Park who would attend, but would be likely to skip weekend early-bird sessions. Thanks for listening! Thank you! We are committed to the evening bootcamp through June. While we are not able to provide a weekend session at Canal Park, we do have offer boot camp on Sunday at 10:30 am at the Capitol Hill location. Give it a try!
zumba class

i absolutley love the zumba classes that laurie teaches, but would like to suggest that we switch up routines a little more often during class. maybe we could rotate in older routines and switch up the order they are performed in as well so it is not always so repetitive. Zumba is really a great class! We're happy you enjoy it. Each instructor is a little different and bring their own style to the class. Please speak directly with Laurie about her classes. She is a wonderful instructor and will be happy to know how to help you get the very best work out!
Rebounder Class

I took a class using a rebounder,
and it was so amazing. The great thing was that it was for all demographics including seniors.
I would love to see this class added to the Capitol Hill gym. Thanks and keep up the good work! Thank you for the note! It sounds interesting. We're not ready to add a rebounder class just yet but we will research the idea!
Kids Fitness

Why are you not offering the Kids Fitness Program for children who are members already? This is what we've been hoping for the past 3 years and now we have to pay separately? The Kids Program needs to improve for those of us who already pay. Especially Saturday...where is the fitness? The new classes are for members and non-members but do require additional fees. Included in our junior memberships are several fitness options for children. Monday (4:10-4:55pm), Wednesday (4:10-4:55pm), and Saturday (9:30-10:15am) we have “Kids in Motion/Sports Mania” which is designed to provide supervised, or adult-led, opportunities for active play, team sports, and general recreation. We ensure that your child is running around and expending energy for 45 minutes each session! However it is not to be used for specific fitness goals such as agility drills or sport skills like Performance Academy. Additionally we provide Kids rock climbing classes Friday afternoon (4:15pm and 5:15pm) and Saturday morning at 11am which is a fun way to gain strength and technical climbing skills for children.

Group fitness continues to be very popular at both locations and we have a wide variety of classes throughout the week. Specifically, Mansur teaches and trains at both locations. He is very popular. We’ll look into expanding schedule. Thanks for your comment!

More Friday Classes & Pilates Reformer

Hi, I love Results, but am always disappointed by the lack of classes offered Friday during the day as many people take off on Fridays. It seems like traditionally Friday midday classes 9am-noon) were relegated for older gym members or those in need of minimal impact exercise. Given the number of people who are off on Fridays because of flexible schedules, please consider offering a full line up for this day that appeals to more members--include a Pilates class.
Speaking of Pilates, have you ever considered having a class with the Reformer apparatus. I've been taking Pilates mat classes forever but would love to kick it up a notch. Thanks for your note. We will be changing the schedule for summer and will look into adding Friday classes. Unfortunately we do not have an appropriate space for a reformer class. If you’re looking for a more challenging Pilates style class, try our Advanced Pilates classes, Pilates-Plus, or even a Barre class!

More Fundamental Yoga

I wish RESULTS had more classes for the over 50 crowd. There are only 2 mid-day Yoga Fundamentals classes and both weekend Fundamentals classes are early in the morning. The Group Fitness schedule is heavy on Flow Yoga, but older members benefit more from basic Yoga and Full Body Flexibility, please consider adding some mid-day stretch or basic yoga classes.
Thanks for the note. We have a number of members in the 'Over-50 and fabulous' category who might agree with you. We will consider more classes of this nature for the next group fitness schedule.
Bi-weekly weekend Zumba?

Hi there! I am sure you've noticed how beloved the M/W evening Zumba classes have become. I imagine it's a tough proposition to plan and fill classes on the weekend, too. That's why I wanted to suggest a BI-weekly Saturday or Sunday mid-day Zumba class. Hopefully having it only every other week will boost attendance. I would LOVE to see more ZUMBA!

I would really like to see more Zumba and hip hop classes. I would honestly go to one of these everyday if they were offered. You're not alone. Zumba and Dance have been very popular recently. We'll see what we can do to add more classes for our spring/summer schedule. In the meantime...the CH location has Zumba on Thursday and Saturday; Downtown on Monday and Wednesday. We won’t be able to offer it every day of the week at Capitol Hill however, we offer Cardio Dance and Dance and Sculpt on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As well as specialized dance classes on Friday nights and Ballet on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Downtown has a ballet on Wednesday nights too!

TRX Classes Need on Hill

Please consider adding a TRX class to the Sunday morning schedule on the Hill. You could use the TRX S Frame or one of their other products to support the equipment. Please check out their website, because you could definitely make it work in one of the exercise classrooms.
Thank you! Good suggestion! We will look into it. While it is not a regularly scheduled class, we have had specialty TRX classes featured on our monthly activities classes and will consider running it again.
